Introduction 1936
In February, 1936 (the winter of the big snow). Dr. Ira Stromsta
Hugh McLean and Earl Wyckoff met in McLeans Jewelry store
with Wayne Hudson of the Sheridan Lions Club to discuss the
organization of a Lions Club in Greenville.
That spring 33 members were signed up and meetings were held
to organize the Club .
In June, the Lions Club was Chartered by the Sheridan Lions Club
