1986 we celebrated our 50th year of service

to our community

President's and the years that they served.

History

2007-2009 were very good years for us.

We started having a wonderful influx of new members into our Club and we are so proud to have them. WE have many projects to work on in our community and it takes many hands to make light work of it.

Introduction 1936

In February, 1936 (the winter of the big snow). Dr. Ira Stromsta

Hugh McLean and Earl Wyckoff met in McLeans Jewelry store

with Wayne Hudson of the Sheridan Lions Club to discuss the

organization of a Lions Club in Greenville.

That spring 33 members were signed up and meetings were held

to organize the Club .

In June, the Lions Club was Chartered by the Sheridan Lions Club
